It's a technology that allows customers to make important time saving gains, being more autonomous and sustainable producing the right quantity at the right timing.
The history of Beckry®Mix
The Beckry®Mix journey began in 1992 with a first installation to produce by mixing of liquid intermediates at one of Beckers’ production sites. Originally aimed at boosting agility and speed in paint manufacturing, a Beckry®Mix station could produce one drum in less than 25 minutes. Initially serving Plastisol, it expanded into full Beckry®Mix concept to include Polyester and Polyurethane ranges by 1997. The first Beckry®Mix was installed at customer in 1994. Since then, 29 Beckry®Mix stations have been deployed globally, spanning Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Americas.
What is Beckry®Mix?
Beckry®Mix is a concept used for manufacturing and colour matching paints. It is a mixing system created to facilitate the traditional paint manufacturing co-grinding process. TheBeckry®Mix installation can be crafted to suit the unique size specifications and product assortments desired by the customer.
How does it work?
The process begins with a concentrated set of tinted pastes, enabling the production of a diverse range of paints tailored to meet the customer's performance criteria. This involves blending some specific clear solution with additives and three or four color pigment pastes. By selecting the appropriate clear solution and color pastes, a wide spectrum of colors can be achieved across various systems. Notably, these installations aren't limited to customer warehouses; over half of Becker's production sites are equiped with a Beckry®Mix unit.
The in-house accompanying Beckers software ensures compliance with formulation regulations and facilitates efficient management of production processes, including batch corrections, quality control, labeling, stock management and leftovers recycling.
Customers can choose from three types of installations based on their production range and paint quantity requirements: manual, semi-automatic (the most popular), and automatic.
The Beckry®Mix concept encompasses Beckers' comprehensive assessment of the site, engineering support, team training, and post-project services such as a hotline, regular audits, and software updates. Beckers not only provides a complete solution but also guides and supports its customers throughout the process.

- Highly concentrated pigmented pastes reduce stock requirements and eliminate the need for big additional quantity during color adjustments. The wide range of universal pigmented pastes used with Beckry®Mix accommodates various qualities including PVdF, Polyester, High Durable Polyester, Polyurethane, High Durable Polyurethane, and Polyurethane/Polyamide.
- Aligned with Beckers' sustainability commitment, Beckry®Mix enables efficient production, recycling of leftovers, and optimized transport, supporting environmental goals.
- Becky®Match complements Beckry®Mix by offering a system that empowers Coil Coated producers and customers to create new color samples on-site. This significantly reduces the time needed for color matching, which could take several days, down to just one day with Beckry®Match.
