Group Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d) based in Europe

The Supply Chain SME will be responsible for aiding in the development and implementation of key Supply Chain processes, systems and standards that build a robust, agile, efficient, and sustainable Supply Chain organization for Beckers Group.

Who you will work with:

You will be part of our team of Group Subject Matter Experts in our DynamicsAX project. The main goal of our DynamicsAX project team is to implement our Group new ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX across all our locations. In this function you will report to the ERP solution owner. In addition, you will also be involved in several activities related to Supply Chain outside the ERP implementation project. These activities have a global scope. In this capacity you will report to the Global Supply Chain Manager.

About the position:

The Supply Chain SME will be responsible for aiding in the development and implementation of key Supply Chain processes, systems and standards that build a robust, agile, efficient, and sustainable Supply Chain organization for Beckers Group.

 

Your responsibilities and deliverables:

 

  • Be the Group expert for Supply Chain processes such as material requirement planning/forecast within our ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Be a major contributor for the development & training of all the Supply Chain reporting tools for SC KPI reporting
  • Be in charge of implementing, standardizing or duplicating Supply Chain processes and/or projects such as inventory management & inventory control, S&OP, stock counting, warehouse management, sustainability, digitalization, etc. at Beckers sites where needed.
  • Support the Global Supply Chain manager to implement the strategy, develop new projects, perform various analysis, work on continuous improvement topics, etc.
Your profile:

Preference will be given to a candidate that completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain field or equivalent at a registered University or University of Technology. A minimum of three years supply chain experience, ideally in material planning/stock management functions and any other relevant qualification and or experience will be advantageous. High level of accuracy is essential.

Having experience in ERP implementation and/or SME role is a plus.

Strong in Supply Chain skills, ability to train and educate others. Knowledge in MS Office applications for MS Word/Excel processing and spreadsheet manipulation, PowerPoint presentations, and general computer skill literacy.
Fluent in English, read, write and speak with excellent grammar, communication and interpersonal skills.

Geographical office location :

The position is based in Europe, but ideally either in Germany, France or Poland.
