Controlling & Reporting Manager

In this newly created position you will be part of HQ Group Finance team. As a great team player you show analytical and numerical skills to manage the team’s increased workload. You will work closely together with the international subsidiaries and will increase the service level at the headquarters.

Purpose of the role, responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Support the consolidation process of the Group accounts in IFRS on the monthly basis, in the annual closing, and in the budget / forecast reporting
  • Develop expert knowledge of the Group reporting & consolidation system to be a backup in the Group consolidation process
  • Steer the Group budget process from start to end; incl. preparation of budget instructions, defining the budget submissions timeline, consolidating the results
  • Manage internal control self-assessment process of the Group entities
  • Analyse key performance indicators: i.e. operating cash flow, working capital
  • Create standard and ad hoc reports
  • Play a role in the global finance master data and compliance process
  • Support in the preparation of the transfer pricing documentation for Holding and the Group
  • Ad-hoc tasks as requested by management


Your profile:

  • University degree in Finance / Accounting / Controlling or Economics or comparable
  • CPA / ACCA / other accounting certification is a plus
  • Minimum total working experience of 5 years
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in one of the big audit firms and subsequent experience in Finance / Controlling / Consolidation Department of an international company
  • Good knowledge & understanding of IFRS
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel required; good skills of remaining MS Office applications
  • Experience with consolidation systems is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus
  • Experience in working in highly international environments and teams
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and successfully complex information
  • Well-structured and analytical approach
  • Interest in operational involvement in core tasks and processes
