Beckers completes sale of the global Railway Coatings business to KANSAI HELIOS

Beckers Group today announces that it has completed the sale of the railway coatings business of Becker Industrie SAS, Montbrison (France) to the newly established KANSAI HELIOS France SAS. The deal was first announced in December 2022. 

The transaction is a further step in simplifying Beckers’ portfolio. With this move, Beckers’ strengthens its profile in performance coatings and continues the transformation of the company into a sustainable innovation-based leader. It allows Beckers to increase efficiency and reinvest into strategic core segments and new products. As well as transfer of technology and business assets, a number of Beckers employees in the railway coating business have joined KANSAI HELIOS France SAS as part of the mutually advantageous deal between the two companies.
