Technical Specialist in Moscow, Russia
What do you do?
I work as technician specialist in the Coil Coatings department of the Moscow Branch Office in Russia. Our department is like a bridge between the customer and production. We are responsible for communication with customers and customer support. My tasks include trouble shooting, making trials on lines or the presentation of new products.
How long have you worked at Beckers?
Since August 2013.
What does a typical day at work look like?
As our department has to deal with different technical questions, we visit customers very often. That’s why my working day often starts with a trip to the customer. Once there, we usually organize line trials, lab tests, technical meetings, or presentations.
If I stay in the office, I check my e-mails, work on customer requests and answers from Swedish production, check changes to ongoing projects.
What is the most interesting part of your job?
Beckers is a very interesting place to work. It’s very important for me that I can improve my skills here, travel, expand my knowledge about paint, solve problems, learn new technical things, and meet interesting people.
